Ben Carson’s Rap Ad Is As Corny As You Thought It Would Be

It looks like Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson is focusing his efforts on Black youths in the most predictable way possible – through rap.

Earlier this morning (November 5), ABC Politics released Carson’s “60-second urban radio advertisement” on their Soundcloud page (!!), and the results are as hilarious and archaic as you might think they are. Carson recruited Aspiring Mogul The Black Republican (and yes, that is his real name), who dropped someone’s idea of bars on the track (“Ben Carson, 2016/Go and support Ben Carson, for our next president and be awesome”).

This is the second in a string of bad musical moments for the Carson family, the first being Candy Carson’s rendition of the National Anthem. Check out the ad above, but don’t say we didn’t warn you.
