6 Things Pusha T Needs To Do As President Of G.O.O.D. Music

Update: Hear a snippet of Pusha T’s upcoming single “Untouchable,” produced by Timbaland.

Management over at G.O.O.D. Music just got a hell of a shakeup this morning. Billboard reports that Pusha T has just been announced as the next president of the Kanye West-founded label.

We’re sure King Push already has a lot on his plate as it is, but now that he’s president of the label, here’s a short list of first orders we had in mind.

Release Kanye’s album

SWISH has been sitting on the back burner for a minute, and while Yeezy himself recently told Big Boy that it’s sounding better and better, it’s just not coming fast enough.

Sign No Malice

Clipse as we know it may be dead and buried, but Pusha could do worse than officially bringing his older brother onto the G.O.O.D. Music roster. No Malice put out Hear Ye Him back in 2013, and it may be proper time for some new heat.

Help out Roscoe Coldchain

Roscoe Coldchain has been in prison since ’08, so G.O.O.D. needs to get him out of prison and sign him on the spot so we can get that sequel to Almost Famous.

Get Hit-Boy on production duty

Hit-Boy, Puff, and the Hit-Men had some heat on Puff’s latest project MMM, so maybe you should team Hit-Boy up with some of your in-house producers?

Figure out where The Last Zulu is

Super producer, MC, and G.O.O.D. Music signee Q-Tip has been working on his follow up to Kamaal/the Abstract since 2012 and now would be as good a time as any for it to come out, especially if you’re serious about having Beck and Kanye West on the same record together.

Finess a new Yasiin Bey album

Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def) has been signed to G.O.O.D. since 2011, but hasn’t released anything since signing. That needs to change, especially if any of the magic from 2009’s The Ecstatic is still kicking around.
