Darryl “DMC” McDaniels’ love for comics has blossomed into his Darryl Makes Comics line, the second issue of which is coming soon, but he and Darryl Makes Comics editor-in-chief Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez don’t plan on stopping there.
According to an exclusive from Comic Book Resources, the duo are reaching for the stars and working with Marvel Comics on their Guardians of Infinity series starting next February. DMC and Miranda-Rodriguez will be taking up writing duties with Dan Abnett , while Carlo Barberi and Juan Doe are working on the art.
Marvel has just started publishing hip-hop-themed variant covers for their latest revamping, while Darryl Makes Comics has been premiering variant covers that go in the opposite direction and pay homage to Marvel itself.
We can’t wait to see how this relationship plays out on the page in February!
