Talk about an unorthodox curriculum. A substitute music teacher in Chicago reportedly quizzed her sixth grade students at John Fiske Elementary School on Chief Keef, and according to the Chicago Sun-Times, parents aren’t happy about it.
“I had never heard of him. But after careful research I found out that his music is about having sex, using the ‘B’ word, anti-police and supporting gangs,” parent Katrina Sanders opined. The quiz includes questions about who shot Keef when he was 16 and what Kanye West song he was featured on.
After complaints from parents, Principal Cynthia Miller suspended both the quiz and the sub, whose identity wasn’t revealed. Here’s hoping one of those students at least got a 3hunna.
