Andre 3000 Is Back Spitting Flames On Erykah Badu’s New “Hello”

Erykah Badu just dropped her new mixtape But You Cain’t Use My Phone, her first full-length project since 2010’s New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh), and believe it or not, it features a collaboration with Andre 3000 – and he’s spitting flames.

The song centers on an interpolation of “Hello It’s Me,” originally written by the god Todd Rundgren (it was actually the first original song he ever recorded in 1968). You might have heard the Isley Brothers cover it on their ’74 LP Live It Up.

Listen to it above, and check the tape on iTunes right here (even though the link seems to be acting up for us right now).

On twitter, Badu posted a couple promo images for the tape and told fans to call her if they can decipher her phone number from the images. See them below and give the Queen a call if you can figure it out.
