In a new interview with Spin, Earl Sweatshirt doesn’t understand why people are still following Eminem in 2015.
“If you still follow Eminem, you drink way too much Mountain Dew and probably need to like, come home from the army,” says Earl.
Inspired by Knxwledge, Earl’s been working on new music lately and says he’s “not as depressed as I was last year when I hurt my knee, so I can’t keep making music about being in a cage ‘cause I’m not in a cage.” He also says he wants to work with Beth Gibbons from Portishead and Madlib. Those two couldn’t be more appropriate.
