Ever since the birth of streaming services, one group has been conspicuously left out: The Beatles.
But on Christmas Eve, John, Paul, Ringo, and George will be available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Google Play, and Amazon’s Prime Music. The only services that won’t be streaming The Beatles is Pandora, who doesn’t do direct deals with music rights holders, and Rdio, which just shut down today. They’ll even be available to free users of Spotify, unlike Taylor Swift.
Of course, The Beatles have been on iTunes since 2010 and on Youtube since the service’s inception. This is simply exciting news for those of us obsessed with our streaming services. Hear some rare Beatles below.
