Late last week, reports surfaced that Chicago rapper King Louie had been shot in the head in his city. Thankfully Louie is doing okay, and yesterday he appeared on CNN to talk with Don Lemon about the incident and what’s happening in Chicago.
Louie, who has been working with an initiative called Put The Guns Down, was shot seven times last week, and three of those slugs are apparently still in his body. When asked what’s going on in his hometown, he simply says, “The devil is working overtime. Evil. Pray for Chicago.”
When asked what hope he thinks there is for Chicago, however, Louie simply said, “Prayer.” He elaborated, “The right people gotta do the right things.”
