Eminem And 50 Cent Turned Down One Of The Biggest Pop Records Of 2015

In 2015, Wiz Khalifa was featured on Charlie Puth’s “See You Again,” a song from the Furious 7 soundtrack that went on to be one of the biggest records in the world, clocking over a billion plays on Youtube. Believe it or not, that could have been Eminem and 50 Cent on there instead of Wiz Khalifa.

In a new interview with Boomer and Carton on WFAN, 50 Cent said that he and Eminem were offered the song first, but Em was tied up with the Southpaw soundtrack, so they had to turn it down.

“At the time we [Eminem and I] had to make a decision between doing that and the song for Fast & Furious,” said 50. “And that record [“See You Again”] was a huge success for Wiz Khalifa and them. He [Eminem] decided to do Southpaw because he was invested in the project.”

Too bad they didn’t take it.
