Lupe Fiasco Debuts New Song With Rick Ross And Big K.R.I.T.

Last night (Jan. 14) Lupe Fiasco took the stage at Roseland Theater in Portland and debuted a new song off his upcoming Drogas album.  The album looks to be some sort of clever concept, as many of Lupe’s albums, including his excellent Tetsuo & Youth from last year, tend to be. In the concert performance above, you can hear him perform the first verse: “tranquilo by the kilo, I got kilos by the ski boat / I ain’t talking about them drugs, I’m talkin’ about that love.” Oddly enough, cocaine extraordinaire Rick Ross has the second verse, and K.R.I.T. has the third verse.

The last time Lupe and K.R.I.T. collaborated was on the stunning final track from the Mississippi rapper’s Cadillactica, “Lost Generation.” Meanwhile, the only time Lupe and Rozay have been on the same track was for Wale’s “Poor Decisions.” Peep that below.
