Lupe Fiasco has kicked up plenty of dust in the rap world since releasing his latest album Tetsuo & Youth last year. He’s supposedly releasing three different projects this year, including what may be his last album before retiring from the game for good. Whether or not he’s serious about retiring remains to be seen, but this gives his current Tour For The Fans more poignance.
Lupe is currently touring the country, playing deep cuts from all five of his major studio releases. The Chicago MC will be making a stop at B.B. King’s in New York City tomorrow (February 5) for what’s sure to be a can’t-miss set. Billy Blue, The Boy Illinois, and ZVerse are opening. The show is sold out, but if you’re in the tri-state area, Lupe is also playing at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ next Tuesday (February 9), so get your tickets now!
