Mo-G Claims Drake Never Paid Him For Songs He Ghostwrote

OVO is coming under fire once again for uncredited songwriting. Canadian rapper Mo-G was taken under Drake and manager Oliver El-Khatib’s wing just under a year ago, but now he’s coming for Drake and Khatib’s necks on Instagram, being the latest to claim that Drake hasn’t paid for songs:

Mo-G managed to get his mixtape in Drizzy’s hands earlier last year, when his friend Safe, another Halal Gang member, was working at the OVO store. After Drake and OVO helped fund G’s EP Ave Boy and bigged him up on “Summer 16,” Drake swagger-jacked the “Ginobli” dance from under Mo-G’s nose, and here we are. “Have you ever heard in hip-hop that mad niggas waste creativity? They make hits but never get a dollar for it, one credit for it,” Mo-G said in the first of a series of Instagram videos. He explicitly called out Drake for not paying him and Oliver for being a “snake ass nigga, double head snake ass nigga,” so hopefully this gets addressed soon.
