Chance The Rapper is a Chicago boy through and through. All throughout his meteoric rise from his debut mixtape 10 Day to highly publicized arguments over Spike Lee’s Chi-Raq to the still building anticipation for his third project, he’s worn his love for his city on his sleeve. He’s even in the running to become club ambassador for the Chicago White Sox.
The video for that project’s first single “Angels” just fell out of the sky, much like Chano himself does after flying around the city in aviator goggles and a tan jumpsuit. The Saba-featuring joint is still as breathlessly fun and danceable as it was when it dropped last fall, but the video take it to another level. Check it out above.
