Lauryn Hill and Tidal have collaborated to launch a three day music that focuses on highlighting music and arts in the African Diaspora.
According to an interview with Billboard, Lauryn described Diaspora Calling as a curation of art “intended to celebrate the rich tapestry of artists from the African Diaspora while also illumining persistent and irrepressible themes.”
Along with DJing the private opening night event, Lauryn also helped to curate the gallery and will be headlining at Friday night’s show. If you’re interested in checking out the art gallery, it’s open to the public Thursday (April 14th) and Friday (April 15th) from 12PM to 4PM.
Though the concert featuring Lauryn HIl, Stephen Marley, JoJo Abot, and more is already sold out; it will be live streamed through Tidal.
