Danger Mouse Shares A Haunting Acoustic Remix Of Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy”

Gnarls Barkley

Gnarls Barkley, the duo comprised of Goodie Mob’s Cee-Lo Green and producer/musician Danger Mouse, released their debut album St. Elsewhere 10 years ago this week. It’s really been a decade since the world was graced with “Crazy,” but Danger Mouse dropped a surprise on his Soundcloud yesterday.

Late last night (April 26), Mouse shared a remix of their breakout single that was originally intended to be a bonus track on Elsewhere, but was rejected by the label. Backed with guitar strums, a haunting choir howl, and some punchy horns, it’s a slower and more haunting take on the original song, but one that still goes all the same. Check it below.
