Space Jam was a pinnacle motion picture for Looney Tunes fans and basketball heads alike when it hit screens in 1996. 20 years after the first movie dropped, Warner Bros. has confirmed that a bonafide sequel is finally on its way – starring none other than LeBron James.
The long-rumored sequel will be directed by Fast & Furious director Justin Lin from a screenplay by Andrew Dodge and Alfredo Botello, according to The Hollywood Reporter. There’s no word on a story or returning characters, but this is the first time the Looney Tunes have graced the big screen since 2005’s Looney Tunes: Back In Action. All we need now is a release date and a trailer, Warner Bros.
