I’ve dedicated my past couple of weeks to alternating between Lemonade and Views but after a while, I needed something new. After hopping on Soundcloud, I found myself going down the rabbit hole. But, the beauty of going through a SoundCloud binge is discovering all of the new talent that comes with it.

Here are 9 songs from some underground gems on Soundcloud that you need to hear.

“For Now” – JordxnBryant & Aus Taylor 
Baltimore natives, JordxnBryant and Aus Taylor have linked up yet again for the smooth Howiewonder produced track, “For Now.” The two blend their lyricism and smooth vocals to express not being able to give their all to the woman of the moment.

“Tropicana” – Topaz Jones 
While we await the weather to finally change, “Tropicana” gives us the groovy summer vibes we’re in dire need of. The track produced by Episode and Topaz Jones combines a touch of Southern funk with some bass and a very catchy hook.

“Feel4U”- Sunni (Colón)
If you’re into old school jams or sounds reminiscent of MGMT— the electronic band Frank Ocean sampled on “Nature Feels”, this one is for you. In preparation for his upcoming EP, Thierry Disko, Sunni (Colón) has dropped the funky self produced track, “Feel4U.” The track definitely has a nostalgic vibe that’ll make you dance.

If you’re into more lyricism, checkout the New Jersey hip hop collective, Beat Lampers. On the standout from In Stealth, “Love Left” is a tribute to the group’s appreciation for the art of boom-bap.

“Flagrant” – Elujay featuring YMTK
California artist, Elujay enlists crooner, YMTK, for the jazz influenced bounce track, “Flagrant”. On the gem, the two connect over the struggle of dealing with women problems.

“Location” – Khalid
“I don’t need nothing else but you,” sings Texas crooner, Khalid. With a soulful voice and production from Syk Sense, Tunji Ige, and Smash David; “Location” is the perfect track to vibe to while reminiscing over your boo.

“Got It From” – Dave B
“She don’t wanna go home, she wanna live in my lap,” sings Dave B over the soulful Sango produced track, “Got It From.” The 24-year-old singer meets rapper yearns for something different from his old ways on the song.

“Bia Bia”- Ace Cosgrove
Over production from SuperMiles, Maryland rapper, Ace Cosgrove vents about commitment and drug usage on the relatable track “Bia Bia.”

“Pick Up Lines” –
Oyabun With the perfect song for a party weekend, Oyabun has a potential summer anthem with “Pick Up Lines.”
