5 Artists To Get Hype For At Summer Jam 2016

Terror Squad Summer Jam

Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam is finally around the corner. This Sunday (June 5), hip-hop & R&B’s best and brightest are bringing it to MetLife Stadium for a whole day’s worth of crazy fun, and the lineup is stacked.

This year, there’ll be something for music fans young and old, so here’s the five acts we’re the most excited for at this year’s fest.

Terror Squad Reunion

That’s right – a full-on Terror Squad reunion led by Fat Joe and Remy Ma! The infamous crew also featured current King of Snapchat DJ Khaled, who’s also on the roster.

Chance The Rapper

Chance The Rapper Summer Jam

Off the huge amount of success his long-awaited third project Coloring Book has seen, Chicago’s native son is headlining the Festival stage, hopefully with The Social Experiment in tow.

Pusha T/Big Sean/G.O.O.D. Music

Pusha T Big Sean G.O.O.D. Music Summer Jam

G.O.O.D. Music President Pusha T is bringing Big Sean and the rest of the gang (hopefully Kanye?) out for an ensemble set. Last year, it was Fabolous who brought out virtually all of New York rap, so what’s G.O.O.D. got in store?

Curren$y Summer Jam

Spitta must not ever sleep. The New Orleans MC has already released *six* projects this year – the most recent being The Legend Of Harvard Blue – and his reliable formula of grooves, weed, and low riders is sure to keep the stage hazy.

Dave East

Dave East Summer Jam

Being one of Nas’ golden boys must have its perks, but Dave East has actual rapping prowess to back that up. With six mixtapes under his belt and a seventh cooking for this year, the New York MC’s bound to have something exciting in store.
