Update: Big K.R.I.T. is officially a free man. After dropping the last freestyle from his #12FOR12 series, K.R.I.T took to Twitter to announce that he is no longer signed to Def Jam. Now that the King Remembered in Time is officially an independent artist, he’ll finally be able to make music the way he wants to.

It has been a minute since we’ve heard some new music from Big K.R.I.T. In fact, fans have been patiently waiting on his return.

Today, the Cadillactica rapper is back with a vengeance. The Mississippi rapper took to Twitter to announce his #12FOR12 series in which K.R.I.T. will be dropping a new freestyle every hour until midnight.
