Curren$y Summer Jam

In honor of Alton Sterling and the many police brutality victims, Curren$y took to Twitter to release a new tribute, “Good Cop, Bad Cop.” On the track, the New Orleans rapper recalls a time where he and his friends got pulled over by Baton Rouge police.

“See this one time I was sliding through/ Baton Rouge cops pulled us over/ He wasn’t loving’ my weed fumes./Put us in the grass/ Handcuffed 2 by 2/ And then they offered bullet holes to me and my crew.”

It’s great to see rappers supporting the Black Lives Matter movement through their words and actions.
