ScHoolboy Q Clears Up The “All Lives Matter” Line on “Black THougHts”

If you’ve heard ScHoolboy Q’s latest album, Blank Face, or have seen his short film, you’ve probably heard the track, “Black THougHts.” On the Willie B produced single, a misconstrued “All Lives Matter” line left a few fans confused.

“It took a Blood to get me Pringle chips/ You can learn to fly or take the ladder/Real nigga shit, all lives matter, both sides.”

Well in an interview with the Breakfast Club, Groovy Tony cleared up the line. “See, people got that and they mixed it up,” he told Charlamagne Tha God. “First off, the song is called ‘Black THougHts’. Black THougHts,” Q stressed. “Two, the whole song is about Crips and Bloods. Three, after I said ‘All lives matter’ I said both sides.” “I flipped the whole ignorant saying “All Lives Matter” and made it still black lives,” he finished.

So, if you thought Q wasn’t down for the BLM movement, you might want to checkout the interview. Watch ScHoolboy Q talk about his weight loss, family, and the “All Lives Matter” bar in the clip below:
