Listen to the Nas and Erykah Badu Collab “This Bitter Land”


Nas and Erykah Badu have been working together for the forthcoming Nas and Machine Gun Kelly produced flick, “The Land.” The film is based in Cleveland and focuses on four teens’ journey to becoming pro skateboarders as they get caught up in the world of drugs.

The soundtrack features musical appearances from French Montana, Jeremih, Kanye West, and many more. The first track to drop from the soundtrack is the Nas and Erykah collaboration, “This Bitter Land.” On the track, Nas raps about the struggles of growing up in a tough neighborhood while Ms. Badu handles the chilling chorus and second verse.

“Cop shot us up, he get a medal then retire/ But it never will define me/ Write a letter to the president, who ever in control of the society/Tell ’em stop riding me, stop driving us into a suicidal ideology.”
