Colin Kaepernick is Donating Jersey Sale Proceeds to the Community

Update: Chris Brown has joined the number of artists who support Colin Kapernick’s mission. The 27-year old singer chose to remain seated as Tank sang the National Anthem at a charity basketball game over the weekend.

In honor of  having the #1 selling jersey in the NFL, Colin Kaepernick has decided to donate all of his jersey sale proceeds to the community. The 28-year old has been using his platform to raise awareness of the many social injustices against people of color currently taking place in the U.S.

Artists like J. Cole and Trey Songz have shown Kaepernick support by rocking his jersey during their respective performances.


Colin took to Instagram to make his announcement. He wrote, “I want to thank everyone who has shown me love and support, it truly means a lot!” “The only way I can repay you for the support is to return the favor by donating all the proceeds I receive from my jersey sales back into the communities,” he continued.
