The Pills Found in Desiigner’s Car WERE NOT Drugs

Desiigner New English

Update: According to TMZ, the pills found in his car were not drugs, but steroids. The 302 pills of Methandrostenolone, PharmOne Oxandrolone, and more that were reportedly found in his car last Thursday belonged to his driver. A rep for Desiigner stated: “It’s time to embrace the true narrative of a young black man enjoying his success and working hard for a prosperous career.”

The two charges against Desiigner have been dropped, according to TMZ. The New York D.A. has officially dropped both the loaded gun and criminal possession with intent to sell charges. The “Panda” rapper was released on his own recognizance but he isn’t exactly out of the woods just yet. We’ll keep you updated with the latest.

According to TMZ, Desiigner was arrested Thursday night after a road rage dispute. Desiigner allegedly got into a screaming match with another driver and pointed a gun at him before speeding off. The other driver took down their license plate and called 911 immediately after.

When the NYPD located the car that the 19-year old rapper and four of his friends were riding in, they found a large quantity of “loose pills,” some being Oxycontin. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper and the others were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. Both are felony charges in New York.

Desiigner was also charged with criminal possession of a loaded weapon and menacing. Hopefully, this isn’t the end of the Brooklyn native’s career.
