Update: Young Dro has been sentenced to 45 days in jail after violating the terms his probation. In fact, the “Shoulder Lean” rapper has been locked up since August 25th and will be released on October 15th. After performing at Georgia Southern University this weekend, Young Dro was arrested.
The “Shoulder Lean” rapper was charged with carrying a weapon in a school safety zone, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or first offender, possession of marijuana less than 1 ounce and possession of a Schedule V controlled substance. He is being held in Bulloch County jail and was denied bond Monday morning.
This isn’t the first time the Bankhead native and former Grand Hustle signee has gotten into trouble with the law. In January, the 37-year old was arrested for grand theft auto but avoided three years of jail time. Because Dro was arrested on a school campus, the charges are much more serious.
