Last month, Kodak Black was sentenced to 120 days in jail after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor charge of 20 grams or less of weed and a misdemeanor for carrying drug paraphernalia. During a call from jail, the 19-year old rapper spit about how his situation behind bars has impacted his life.
In the short clip he raps, “I’ve been through a lot in my past/I’m tryna stay level-headed/I gotta stop moving so fast/I don’t know where I’m headed/You don’t even answer no more/It seem like you wanna be separate/Everybody telling me go/But I don’t know where I’m headed.”
Despite his eligibility to be released on November 30th, Kodak will still have to deal with his sexual battery case in South Carolina— a charge which could land him 30 years according to the Sun Sentinel.
