Tyga may never be as cool as he was the night he decided to be Juelz Santana for Halloween. The rapper and satellite Kardashian convinced all of his boys to join him in dressing up as Harlem clique Dipset.
“Now when they see Cam and his boy they say damn Oh Boy Santana’s that Boy that squeeze hammers OH Boy,” he wrote under one photo. “Todays a new day, got the boo lay up in the suitcase. Go uptown to Harlem, tell ’em that I sent ya.”
Evidently, the cosplay didn’t end with Instagram photos and song lyrics. Tyga actually performed songs by Cam’ron and company at a club to make the whole thing complete. The reaction was mixed on social media but you can’t front on the creativity. Even Juelz shared the pic on his page saying “They Killed it.” And as much as we ask for newer artists to pay homage to those that came before, you can’t really get mad at this.
Tyga’s was one of several pretty creative costumes that artists decided to flaunt for their weekend revelry. Check out some of the best ones we found below.
